The suspension of the public celebration of the Holy Mass will continue through Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020 and will resume upon the time where restrictions are lifted. Bishop Bradley has announced updates to the Holy Week liturgies for the Diocese of Kalamazoo. All liturgies celebrated by Bishop Bradley will be live streamed on diocesan website and simulcast on the diocesan Facebook page. Please click here for additional details.

The Diocese of Kalamazoo has temporarily suspended all public Masses effective Friday, March 20th through Palm Sunday, April 5, 2020. Additionally, the annual Chrism Mass on Tuesday, April 7th has been relocated to St. Augustine Cathedral, Kalamazoo, and will be limited to attendance by priests only. The Mass will be live streamed on the diocesan website and Facebook. The Diocesan Pastoral Center will be closed to the public from March 20th through April 5th though employees will be working remotely.

During this current health crisis, I write to assure you of my ongoing prayers for you, and to encourage all of us to pray for and with one another. In particular, we pray for all those who are suffering from the Coronavirus, for all our health care workers, for all our civic leaders, and, in a special way, for those who are at special risk.

Bishop Bradley has directed a number of precautionary measures in light of the Coronavirus.
