Diocesan Worship Commission

The Diocesan Worship Commission is an advisory body of clergy and laity from various parishes throughout the diocese. The primary purpose of the commission is to advise the Bishop in matters related to worship and liturgical renewal and to provide liturgical catechesis throughout the diocese in collaboration with the Office of Christian Worship.  The term of membership is one year and renewable. The commission meets five times during the year. 
 
In addition to the general qualities/characteristics listed above, those nominated to serve should:

• be active in the church's liturgical life as a member of the parish or as a liturgical minister;
• have a desire to grow in their understanding and knowledge of the liturgy;
• be able to give a reasonable amount of time and energy to the issues of liturgy and worship; &
• possess the ability to work in a collegial manner with other members of the Commission.
